Hudson Awning & Sign Company designed and fabricated all the awnings and canopies, for the replica of Atlantic City’s boardwalk, circa 1920, for the new HBO drama series Boardwalk Empire, written by Terrence Winter, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Steve Buscemi.

However, the boardwalk is not in Atlantic City: it’s a 300-foot boardwalk built in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn.

The 1925 era Atlantic City Boardwalk comes alive with Hudson’s original looking awnings.
