| Liberty Towers Jersey City, NJ Hudson fabricated a decorative banner on the side of an office high-rise building in New Jersey’s financial district. The banner is approximately 40 feet high and custom designed to enhance the architectural lines of the building. | Tent City in Ocean Grove, New Jersey Established after the Civil War as a Methodist revival camp, the tent city attracted 10,000 summer visitors. Ocean Grove is now a site on the National Register of Historic Places and Hudson fabricated all the tent covers, which are only used seasonally. |
| Lord & Taylor – Fifth Avenue, New York City These awnings were created especially for Lord & Taylor. The covers were digitally printed, grey and white stripes on the top, bright yellow on the underside. The colors were selected from the Toyo color palette. | ||
| Lord & Taylor - Fifth Avenue, New York City Working closely with L&T’s window designers, we custom design canopies that replicated the tops of circus tents to set off circus-theme holiday window displays. | |
| Macy’s - 34th Street, New York City Macy’s gave Hudson a challenging assignment: Create something unique to promote Bora Bora. We used imported, hand-stained bamboo on decorative, internally illuminated panels for a lush look reminiscent of exotic Polynesia. | |
| Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade - New York City Macy’s wanted to tether the huge balloons in its annual parade, and Hudson came up with an ingenious solution. We designed and installed special titanium anchors along Central Park West and Columbus Avenue to secure them down in inclement weather. We also designed a brass barrier system to control the crowds that come to view Macy’s famous Holiday Windows on Broadway and 34th Street. |
| Grounds for Sculpture - Hamilton, NJ When world-famous sculptor J. Seward Johnson needed a canopy for his life-size replica of Renoir's "The Luncheon of the Boating Party," he turned to Hudson. The canopy we designed and fabricated not only looks exactly like the original but, thanks to an intricate hidden truss system, can stand up to New Jersey's strong winds and heavy snows. In the fourth photo, there is a real person. Can you find him? One of our installers enjoyed the moment. | |
