Grounds for Sculpture - Hamilton, NJ


When world-famous sculptor J. Seward Johnson needed a canopy for his life-size replica of Renoir's "The Luncheon of the Boating Party," he turned to Hudson. The canopy we designed and fabricated not only looks exactly like the original but, thanks to an intricate hidden truss system, can stand up to New Jersey's strong winds and heavy snows.

Working closely with L&T’s window designers, we custom design canopies that replicated the tops of circus tents to set off circus-theme holiday window displays.

Macy’s gave Hudson a challenging assignment: Create something unique to promote Bora Bora, a brand new fragrance. We used imported, hand-stained bamboo on decorative, internally illuminated panels for a lush look reminiscent of exotic Polynesia.
